Eligibility Criteria SBI Clerk Recruitment 2025

Age Limit (as of April 1, 2025)

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years
• Candidates must be born between April 2, 1997, and April 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive).
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: +5 years
  • OBC: +3 years
  • PwD (UR): +10 years
  • PwD (OBC): +13 years
  • PwD (SC/ST): +15 years

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) must ensure the degree is completed by December 31, 2025.
• Final-year students may apply provisionally, provided they submit proof of graduation by December 31, 2025, if selected.

Local Language Proficiency

• Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the specified local language of the state/UT they are applying for.
• Candidates with 10th or 12th standard mark sheets/certificates proving they studied the local language are exempt from the language test.

Selection Process: SBI Clerk Recruitment 2025

1. Preliminary Examination: Objective test (100 marks, online).
   • Sections: English Language (30 Qs, 20 min), Quantitative Aptitude (35 Qs, 20 min), Reasoning Ability (35 Qs, 20 min).
   • Total: 100 questions, 1 hour.
2. Mains Examination: Objective test (200 marks, online).
   • Sections: General/Financial Awareness (50 Qs, 50 marks, 35 min), General English (40 Qs, 40 marks, 35 min), Quantitative Aptitude (50 Qs, 50 marks, 45 min), Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (50 Qs, 60 marks, 45 min).
   • Total: 190 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours 40 minutes.
   • Negative marking: 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer.
